Jack graduated from the London School of Garden Design in 2025, following a significant career change driven by a long-standing passion for horticulture and outdoor spaces.
Before re-training into garden design, Jack had spent 10 years in the Army, including deployment over-seas, eventually retiring as a captain in 2021. After leaving the Army, Jack entered the banking sector, specialising in sustainability and working on projects focused on nature-based solutions and creating practical guides for the banking sector to rally around. While the work aligned with his values, Jack found the corporate environment unfulfilling, which led him to pursue a more creative path in garden design.
Since graduating, Jack has been working for Consilium Hortus while also developing his own business, gaining crucial hands-on experience. His aim now is to exhibit show gardens for the RHS, build a successful design studio and contribute to community projects
