Jen Donnelly – Jen was drawn to garden design by her passion for mental health and well-being. After a successful 20-year career in the corporate sector, she retrained as a garden designer to merge her creativity with a desire to create gardens that connect people with nature. She graduated with Distinction from the London College of Garden Design in 2021 and founded Jen Donnelly Garden Design.
Jen’s design style strikes a balance between practicality and aesthetics, focusing on creating spaces that enhance how people use and enjoy their outdoor environments—whether for socialising, relaxing, appreciating nature, or simply unwinding in a beautiful setting.
Jen’s planting approach is tailored to each client’s preferences and the property’s style and surroundings, ensuring the garden integrates seamlessly with its environment. Jen created her first show garden this year at RHS Chelsea – a Container garden called the ‘Room to Breathe Hospital Garden for the TSA’ and achieved a Gold Medal.
